I want to make a color flow transfer from a patternthat I've drawn. However, I do not have any color flow mix, nor am I in a town where I can get some. Is there anyone with a recipe or idea on achieving this. I have never done this before! PLEASE HELP! Any advice would be appreciated. Thankyou!

Could you use royal icing. It is close to the same but maybe not quiet as strong??

Don't kow for sure but this will give you a bump...

I've always thinned it by using water....

Color flow and royal icing are quite similar. Color flow is more concentrated and therefore stronger. I would add extra meringur powder. This down with water, slowly. It can get too thin very quickly. Corn syrup, like piping gel never truly dries, so you definitely do not want to thin either royal icing or color flow with it.
Good luck - I know you are going to love what you can do with this.

Most of my color flow pieces are done with Royal icing. The basic recipe no extra anything. You do want to use water to thin it down.

Those in England and over sees have always done it with Royal icing as well. So you will be fine. icon_smile.gif
