icon_smile.gif I don;t know about you , but I started my Holiday Baking this past week-end...I made about 300 cookies and 6 cakes... gave them all out to neightbors, co-workers and friends...and some for my husband to eat. Had a nice Christmas Party at my house last Friday night, then off to baking Saturday and Sunday... and there's more to come !!! icon_smile.gifusaribbon.gif

I do alot of baking at my house as well. Each of my family members gets to pick out one GOODIE recipe to be made. Many of them get their own batch of some recipies as gifts. I just love doing this kind of baking and cooking. I also have 2 cake orders during the next 2 weeks, plus 5 FINAL EXAMS. I will be finished with school for the semester on MONDAY!!!!! I can't wait. That is when my baking begins. Non stop until Christmas Eve, when my meal preparations begin.

But I love every minute of it!

I decided to give gift boxes full of homemade cookies and candies this year to family and friends, its cheaper and more personal. Any suggestions on which types of cookies to make? I want cookies that will keep at least 2 weeks and can be shipped. If any of you have a great cookie or candy recipe will you please share? I have recipe books but am not sure which are the great tasting ones. Good luck to everyone and Happy Holidays!
