I was making the golden cake recipe out of the cake book and I asked my DH to pour me 1 1/3 cup whole milk and bring it to me. I put it in the recipe and mixed it and poured it in the pans to bake. Then low and behold in my garbage can is the heavy cream container! He poured me 1 1/3 cups of heavy cream instead! ![]()

Will this screw up my cakes? I have never heard of anyone substituting heavy cream for whole milk! ![]()

And I had already put them in oven so I can't add anything to fix it either!!!!
Thanks guys I was worried and the batter seemed very fluffy and airy to me so I was just wondering if it would change the baking out come. This is my first time using this book so these recipes are still ??????
That's what I get for asking someone to hand me something hu? ![]()
