I was just on the Sugarcraft website and did some reading about stuff called Choco-pan. Has anyone ever used this? How does it taste? Is it easy to use? I'm wanting to get away from MMF. It is easy to work with but is super sweet and I hate to see people picking their cake apart to eat it. Any input would be nice.

I love Choco-Pan. It has it's uses and there are some applications where it's not the best choice. It does tear easily, but if you mix a bit of "regular" fondant (ie. SantinIce or another brand -- NOT WILTON), then it makes it much easier to work with.
As a not, Sweet Art will also custom-color it to match Sherwin-Williams (sp?) paint chips. This is a great alternative when you need to get a really deep color! I've used it a few times, and I really like the fondant and the color-service.

I've used it several times and love the way it handles. Seems very low maintenance as compared to fondant.
I don't personally care for the taste, my clients really like it.
FYI their Bright White matches SMBC exactly!
If you dont like the MMF as the directions telu to make it, try adding flavour to it instead of the water..that way it can taste like whatever you want. Orange extract, almond extract, mint, chocolate liquer...plenty of options when u make it yourself. Andcx you can make it to compliment your cake...
