I need something that is see through. Something like you would find in a cafeteria that you can put just a slice of cake in it to sell.

Don't know what size or shape you need, but Papermart has a good selection at a fairly good per-piece price

As crazy as it sounds I go to my local Safeway store and pick up all of my clear cake boxes. The cake box for a half sheet cake is only a $1. A store like that is usually willing to give or sell to you quite cheep their cake boxes.

I think what you are talking about are clamshell containers. I got a friend who owns a restaurant to order me some, but you can do an internet search for plastic clamshell containers and you wil find lots of things.
