I can find out for you, there is a terrific caramel apple guy at school. We have recruited him to make the apples for us as a fund raiser.
Meet me here tomorrow..I will track him down for ya!..lol
didn't catch him yet..but will get you your answer. Even if I have to pm it..
have fun shopping...
cold...yum....
but if anyone else beats me to the punch..even better.
This is NOT a private exchange..lol dont' be shy!!
Turns out Caramel Boy is in my Bake Tech class..He said cool dry weather is optimum for making caramel apples.
if they are cooked right and wrapped correctly...you can make them weeks ahead of time.
I would start making them now..see how they keep up by your neck of the woods!..
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks D....I have been shopping and my fingers hurt!!! There are some great deals online....I don't think I'll ever go back to shopping in stores during the holidays!!!
Thanks for the caramel apples answer....I'm going to start tomorrow then....I'll let you know how it goes!!!
MWAH!
lol, I know what you mean..except be careful. I just ordered some books from England and I got my cc scammed.
Someone ordered about a thousand dollars worth of merchandise..including a used computer on my cc!!
I let the people in England know, and I haven't gotten a reply...I wonder if it was them..lol
It's been so cold down here in Florida, that Caramel Man said...we could even start making the apples, wrapping them and storing them for later use...he said it's the moisture from the humidity that will damage them.
SO, if you have a cold dry room in your house, that's where I would keep them!
PS: I'm sticking to good ole USA online shopping from now on..lol
AND THOSE PEOPLE HAD A SECURE SITE TOO..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Thank goodness I have a great bank!
