I'm a SAHM and constantly volunteering at my children's school. I've been lucky that my kids haven't been bullied... But, the one bully (major problem child) decided one day that my child was going to be on his bully list. When the kid decided to poke my child in the face, just below his eye. I was standing 10 feet away, watching this and hoping my child would stand up for himself, well he didn't he's such a big softy. Anyway, my child started crying because the kid poked him in the eye. When, I went to console my child, I leaned over to the Bully and basically told him that if he should ever touch my child again, I was going to come after him! I would talk to his family and take it out on them too.
Do you know to this day, the Bully treats my child like a King, and constantly says hello to me and even gives me hugs? The bully still raises havoc on the playground and in class but, my child is no longer in his bullying line of sight.
It's amazing how much bullies are allowed to get away with, but when a victim sticks up for themselves they are punished worse than the bully. Sounds like the system is out of whack.

as a parent AND a teacher, you need to contact the school's principal about this issue...and right away.
