Gumpaste Or Fondant????

Hi! I really like the look of the cute toppers that have gumpaste or fondant on wire. What works best...fondant or gumpaste??? Also is the wire just simple floral wire??? I would like to make one of these for my daughter's b-day cake in Janiuary. Thanks in Advance!

you can use either fondant or gumpaste, but gumpaste can be rolled thinner and will dry harder. Yes just use regular florist wire. The size of the wire will depend on the size of the decoration
