Okay I am wanting to make a cookie bouquet, I have a few question,

First--What recipe would you suggest? "I need to freeze them also"
Second --How long can you keep them in freezer after you bake them?
Third--What is the best Icing recipe?

Thank you for taking time to help me...

1. My favorite recipe is the No Fail Sugar cookies. I have frozen baked cookies with or without the decorations. Just wrap them tightly and I wouldn't leave them in there for more than a couple of weeks.
2. My foavorite icing is Decorators Icing for Cookies (Antonia74's icing)

Check out the article section and there is a tutorial on making decorated cookies with the recipes and lots of tips.

I can answer the icing question. I have used the Marshmallow Fondant recipe and it was a breeze to work with - and it froze really nice once on the cookies too. I then made a rolled buttercream and then combined it with the MMF and that is my favorite.

Can I freeze or refrigerate the dough without baking it first and if so how long would it keep?

i've just used dough that was frozen for 3 weeks. i think once it's properly wrapped it could last a month or so. i use toba's cookie recipe, but bake a little longer than suggested. my last bouquet was royal and my x-mas cookies were rolled buttercream with fondant and royal accents. you can have a look - i think the rbc cookies are neater somehow...
