Can some one direct me somewhere I can get a turorial for roses & flowers?

What type icing am I supposed to use? BC? Royal? Gumpaste?

Need help since I am self taught...

You can get tutorials on this site for making BC roses on a stick which would also work for royal. Wilton's site has some too.
As far as gumpaste, what really helped me learn was the Wilton time saver cutting kit. There are some good beginner instructions in there!

I'm about 80 miles east of dallas...Sulphur Springs!

THanks for the tips...I bought the one that you cut out just haven't gotten started yet

I am self taught as well and I think that set gave me a good foundation to start gumpaste on my own. I've been wishing I had more time to spend on it though! After that I branched out to other cutters and it was easier than just picking up those cutters and trying to learn what gumpaste was all about! Good luck!
