I know someone who had a miscarriage last week and is having a hard time and is very upset. I want to make her something to cheer her up. Any suggestions? I know she loves cake, what kind of design should I do? Just something small for her. Any ideas? TIA!

That's very sweet. I would do something very small and simple, maybe saying "thinking of you" or "I'm her for you".

What about an angel? I don't know if she believes in angels, but when my attempts at IVF failed, I cried for days and keeping faith helped me.

Is there a particular flower, color, or animal she likes? I would find something that she really likes and then go off of that. Besides, I'm sure that anything you do will be appreciated and liked. You are thinking of her and showing her you care in her time of grief.

When the mother of one of my friends died a few years ago, someone sent her a potted plant - it was a "Forget-Me-Not" you could do those flowers on a simple cake.

Maybe a really pretty Spring Bouquet cake with white Doves. I like the Forget-Me-Not flower idea too.

You are very sweet and thoughtful to do this for your friend! Someone should make you a "Good Friend" cake. icon_smile.gif

that is very sweet and thoughtful of you. when i had my two miscarriages, i know all i wanted was a friend to be there for me. she's lucky to have you. how about a teddy bear? it could be a metaphor of something to cuddle?
