Hi,

Brand new week already! I did absolutely horrible last week....Thanksgiving I ate like a pig, and the weekend we traveled by car to visit the inlaws....ate terrible on the road and after getting home! I also didn't get my walking in since everything was so busy. I am getting back on track today! I didn't even weigh in on Friday; I thought I would save myself the depression...I knew it would be bad!!!

I hope you guys did better than me!

Berta

I stayed the same this week Berta.. I think I have been testing too many cookie recipes..LOL..
It has gotten milder here this week and I have been trying to walk everyday so hopefully I can lose a pound at least..It is getting harder as the holiday season approaches with all the extra baking and cooking I've been doing..
Hope everyone has a good week..

I did horrible this week as I knew I would. With Thanksgiving at home Thanksgiving day, and at my Mom's the sunday before. I ate like a pig both times and in between to. I gained get this 5# I was so mad at myself, but I do have a fluid retention problem brought on by my heart problem, and I think that part of it is that, as it is the types of food I eat that get it started, and nothing that I ate this past week was as healthy as it should be.

Sorry to hear you guys didn't lose any weight this past week. I weighed in last Friday and I was down .75 lbs but I went last night (my new meeting night) and I was UP 1.2.

I am SO dissappointed. It is my own fault and I am really cracking down this week. I'm in week #4 and I've only lost 3.8 lbs net with this past week's gain.

We will ALL do better next week!!

Hugs,
Lisa

I have found that when I started WW I lost a lot of weight at the beginning, but now it comes off so slow! I guess my body was in shock at first. It is so discouraging; I wish I could jump start some nice losses again!!

I think we did lose a lot of people this week! We have not had near as many check in!

Yeah, I noticed that too. As an afterthought on my weigh=in last night, I should have used my "Skip the Scale" pass. It does whacky things to my head when I see a gain.

I hate to see a gain that's why I didn't weigh in the day after Thanksgiving. I figured I would eat ten times worse if I saw a gain....its that whole well I already screwed up might as well pig out mentality! It's dumb but I do that. If I eat bad I say oh well I already messed up might as well eat bad some more instead of saying ok I ate bad once but now I am getting back on track. I'm so dumb!

I am EXACTLY like that, too!!! I'm really fighting that mentality at the moment. This is a NEW week! Time to make it count!

Berta, I know what you mean I think most of us are like that, we can be our own worst enemy. When it comes to loosing weight I know I am.
