Hi Everyone!

I am looking for a Butter Pecan Cake recipe from scratch. I found plenty on the internet, but I would like to use one that has been tried out. I really appreciate your help!

Hi Berta -

I have used the one by Carol at allrecipes.com

It's delicious. A friend has also made it and got rave reviews! It's very, very light and really good.

Thank You Cranberry!

I had looked at that one, but you know when there are so many I just prefer to use one that is recommended especially on this board.

Thanks Again!
Berta

Hey girl! I make my son's fav. cake (white choc. w/butter pecan frosting) every year for his B-day. The recipe is from Christmas with Southern Living - 1996. The title is: Butter Pecan Cake. Actually the cake is a southern buttermilk cake made with white chocolate. The butter pecan part actually is the frostingnot the cake. The frosting is a butter cream cheese frosting with toasted buttered pecans (to die for). If you want the recipe, you know where to find me.

Take care,
