What a hoot! She was hilarious this morning. My husband even comes in to watch her and we both get a good laugh. I couldn't believe she actually spit out the pepper into her hand and they left that in. I loved it when she licked the chocolate off of the measuring cup. The other day she was saying ball and had to explain that she wasn't saying boil. They both sound the same from her. Did anyone read the article she wrote for the Ladies Home Journal? If you haven't read it you should. She is so real and that makes using canned and pre-made things that she uses okay. I do worry about her colesterol though!

I did read that article and I agree with you, she is so real! It's funny because I hadn't ever watched her show before and the day I read that article I turned on the t.v. and flipped through a couple of channels and her show was on. I sat and watched it and now i'm hooked. I love her! I would love to go to GA and eat at her restaurant.

did you see her on oprah a while back she was making her famous cake and dropped the glass bowl into the KA and started screaming and the things were flying out of the bowl and she was trying to get ti turned off her and orpah were laughing soo hard. paula said lets not finish that lol its was soooo funny when oprah asked her about the all the fuss over how much butter and stuff she uses she said im your cook not your dr. oprah loved that. paula is soo funny

I watch her every now and then and I love how she's just herself and acts funny and natural.

I also saw her on Oprah the other day, my first time to see her. She really is very real and down-to-earth, and I love her accent. Wish I could get her show, but I don't have cable here. Seems like it would be a lot of fun to watch. Janice

I love Paula!! I watch her show any time I get the chance but unfortunately that not very often. I am usually at work when it is on icon_sad.gif But I did see that Oprah....it was hilarious icon_lol.gif I don't think I have ever seen Oprah laugh that hard!

The first episode I ever watched of paula's, she swore and they had to bleep it, it was soooo funny. I was hooked from then on because of that. I knew she would be different.

I have watched paula a quiet abit lately. And I just love her. She is so like like me. Loves to cook. I am not into butter Quite as much though. I missed the operha show though. But I bet it was a HOOT icon_lol.gif Cause Paula is great when she is on a show and thing go crazy. She can do her job. Things go crazy OH WELL icon_lol.gif . Get over it and go on. thumbs_up.gificon_lol.gif Just like a true COOK. thumbs_up.gif Figure out how to fix it and make it taste GREAT thumbs_up.gif

I love Paula... We are actually going to Savannah Ga on our way to Florida so we can eat at her Lady and sons restaurant. My dh and I are both big fans of hers. My husband has an aunt and she and Paula could be sisters. Paula is such a hoot.

Have you seen the movie Elizabethtown? With Orlando Bloom. Paula Deen plays Aunt Dora, and her character is just simply Paula. Down to earth, sweet and funny.
