Hello! The frosting I usually use is Buttercream Dream.....but this client wants a whipped cream frosting....I have never made one, can you tell me what whipped cream frosting you use and the recipe. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!
What is stabilized whip cream???? I did tell the client though that I will be doing the decorating in buttercream as that is the easiest for me to make roses and so forth. Any help will be kindly appreciated. THANKS AGAIN!!
i almost always use the recipe called "whipped cream buttercream". never heard anything but good things about it. i can hardly ever get anyone around here to want regular buttercream!
i decorate with it too.
There is a recipe on here for stabilized whipped cream frosting. It is basically whipped cream with gelatin added to help the whipped cream hold its shape. You can do some minor decorating, borders and things, with it, but I don't think you could do flowers with it.
so when do you use stabilized whipped cream??? I am confused!!! LOL......
Ooohhh, the BCD and WCBC are both excellent frostings ![]()
Is the customer wants real whipping cream you might want to try Whipped Cream frosting.
Here are both recipes:

HTH
I use stabilized whipped cream whenever someone wants a whipped cream frosting. When I use bc, I use the wilton recipe, so the whipped cream is a big difference. I have used plain whipped cream one time when the recipe went south on me...made it a day in advance and it held fine, but whipped cream is so temperamental, I feel better about it adding the gelatin. It's much easier to handle.
