Hey, ya know we could just say something like Saturday or Sunday night between 6pm and 9pm CCer's will be meeting at Applebee's (or something like that). Something with more of an open house feeling so that if you're caught up shopping or drooling at the pretty cakes 
you can come and meet everyone without feeling late!

Yah I have been, I almost missed it because I've had a thread running over under cake contests about the show and I wasn't looking for something under general. It sounds like a good idea. I almost paniced thinking I didn't have a pink shirt but I do! 
So I guess we should plan on wearing them to dinner? We'll all be like, "Yah, I'm with the crazy chicks in pink!" 
Well Saturday is a better night. Sunday awards start around five and one year close to six. If I remember we did not get out of the grounds until close to 8pm. Unless you all are party animals!
Fish Daddy's is a great restaurant. We bumped into the Foodnetwork crew there last year.
Oooh, I love fish! Bumping into the Food Network people would be a great bonus! 
And Saturday does sound better then trying to plan arond the awards and pick up time. But I don't care that much about time, I've got a little party animal in me! 
Ok, so it's a very little animal but at least it purrs!

I have a feeling that I'm going to be drooling till around six, how long does it take to get there from the fairgrounds?

Second, I'm here! Got in late yesterday afternoon. Did your cakes make it in one peice? Mine did except for a stupid handling mistake so I'm getting ready to do a tiny patch job on it and then finish my tarts. The traffic, ect. was killer last night so we decided to not turn stuff in until the morning. Anyone else waiting?

I'm here since last night. I am turning my cake in in the morning. I gotta patch a couple things.
I can't wait to see all the cakes.....my heart skips a beat everytime I think about walking through a room full of cakes......My dh thinks i'm crazy
