I am putting a pict of Marilnn Monroe on a cake. I will outline in gel & fill in. It is a pict of her face to her bust, in a low cut dress. It just hit me.....how do I distinguish between her chin and neck, also--her nose??? If those are all outlined in fleshtone & filled in, it will look like one big blob!! icon_cry.gif
please help icon_eek.gif

Use a SLIGHTLY darker shade to outline those areas should give you some definition ... take a quick google for some black & white images of people so you can see where you need to darken your outlines (B&W just makes it MUCH easier to see the contrast)

Note... to get a shadow within any colour, you add a spec of the opposite colour.. i.e. if you are using red and you want a shadow on the red, you add a bit of green to some of your red.

In the case of flesh tone, it's more in the peach range, so adding the tiniest bit of a pure blue should give you a good shadow colour (google images of "colour wheel" if you aren't familiar with opposite colours.)
