hey please help. i am trying to do a caramel cake but have been told that applying the icing on the cake can be amess. i would like to know how can i apply icing without the icing sliding off of the cake. and a receipe for icing please. i will be baking in a few minutes. thanks

you can try melting the caramels and making a caramel gnache.

..another options would be to add some caramel (the kind that comes in a tub near the fruit) to your regular buttercream icing. I don't have an exact measurement but I just add enough to get that caramel taste!
