I'm sooooo excited!!! I just mailed my registration forms for the cake show!!! I am entering the Wedding Cake Competition! I have never entered a competition before and am super-excited about it!

Just wanted to share my excitement with everyone!

I will definitely post pics when the cake is done. They won't be posted until the 10th, because the cake is getting set up there.

I made 100 carnation bases in the last three days for this cake! I am taking the fondant and gumpaste class as Michaels, and we learned the bases last week. This monday we are learning to finish the carnations, so that is my project this week - finish 100 carnations!

I have a sketch of the cake - I'll see if I can get the file small enough to post here!
