I was watching Good Morning America and they said 85% of Americans are traveling this weeked, and with all the snow/rain/fog happening all over it can be dangerous. I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday weekend. I hope those of you who are traveling do so without any complications!

I'm staying in my area, my family is all within 20 mins of me, yeah! Just wanted to say how thoughtful of you, and also wish safe travels to all icon_smile.gif

We're traveling the day after Thanksgiving. My BIL is a firefighter and he has to work Thanksgiving Day, so we are having a non-traditional fare ourselves. Dinner at a restaraunt and a movie (Harry Potter, I think) tomorrow, a trip to the snow on Friday and then on to the family gathering a couple hours further on up the road.

Thank you Randa, around here we try and stay off the freeway...and we only have to drive about 5 miles on the back roads to where we are going.

Thanks..that was very sweet! Looks like DH and I fall into that 85% category. We will be traveling most of the day tomorrow. Yuck! It will be worth it though because we will bothe get to see our families!! Have a great Thanksgiving!
