I would like to make a cheese cake for a side cake for an up coming wedding.... ( brides favorite)..... can you make a cheese cake in the shape of a heart and still get it out of the pan ? I don't have a spring form pan in a heart shape, only a regular heart cake pan....... any suggestions ? OH ! the bottom would be a brownie instead of graham cracker crust..... TIA....
Maybe if you rimmed the pan with parchment, you could get it out easier...cheesecake and brownies...YUM!
I will never buy another springform pan again. I use my regular cake pans, wilton and magic line, coated in pan release, then parachment and another coat of pan release. After it is baked let it cool to room temp and then put in the cooler overnight, at least 12 hours. Take the burners of your stove and turn them on med-low heat. Swirl the pans over the heat until the pan gets warm on your hands. Take a board covered in parachment and put over the cake pan and flip, take another covered board and flip a second time and it will be facing correctly. It works wonderfully! My boss taught me how and I passed it onto a friend who tried it the other day and worked for her as well! GoodLuck, I'm sure it'll work great!!!
I'd butter the bottom and sides of my magic line pan and line the bottom with parchment and butter that then fill. With parchment in the bottom and sides coated with cake release I've never had anything stick. Good luck!
P.S. I didn't know there were springform pans in any shape but round!! Hey!!
