linsday, a smash cake is for the birthday boy/girl to go ahead and smoosh and smash and eat just for themselves! i made one for my twins' first birthday. they had fun with it!

megan, are you making a cake for the guests too? i'd love to see!

Yes I have the guest cake filled and waiting til later tonight to finish it off. It is a 12" square dummy, 10" 8" 6" round and will be covered with chocolate icing and than purple and pink chocolate clay and will hopefully look like a castle in the end. I will either post that one later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback everyone. Megan

Thanks everyone! My real handwritting is CRAPY! So I printed out her name and covered it with wax paper and did candy melts! So no my real handwriting is not one bit like that! Well I am off to have some dinner after we just finished decorating the hall. Than I am off to work on the BIG cake!
