I was wondering if I apply pixie dust to fondant, should I spray with alcohol first or would that damage the fondant surface?

Cakesbysam.com says you sprinkle it on your finished cake. I don't think you mix it with alcohol.

You really don't really need to wet it--the pixie dust will stick to the fondant--and to everything surrounding--especially if you blow it on. I will have pixie dust on my face for days--even after taking a number of showers! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif But I will never give it up!
