Here's the wedding cake that went with the rubik's cube groom's cake I already posted... Between the Rolie Polie Olie cake disaster Friday, and the wedding cakes (and attending the wedding) yesterday, I'm STILL tired. I didn't get home from the wedding until 2am!
Thanks to everyone for all your support and encouragement the last few days... I'm just glad this weekend is almost over and I can go back to my regular JOB! ![]()
Just gorgeous! The live fish as a topper is fantastic--it's a very elegant cake, but still lighthearted--well done!
Love the cake...everything ties in so well together. ![]()
why was Rolly Polly a disaster? I just looked at the picture and thought it was great!
Very Pretty! Are the shells made of white cho. sprinkled with pearl dust?
Thank you everyone! I was a little afraid of using the live fish - but since it was my idea I figured I'd better pull it off! ![]()
sofiasmami: Thank you. The rolie polie olie was supposed to be a cake in his shape, not just with him on top. That's why it was a disaster... but it worked out in the end, and the mom was happy ![]()
cakefanatic: The shells are all white chocolate. I shook them in a plastic baggie with "silk white" luster dust, because the bride didn't want a really pearlized look. The little pearls, though, were shaken with super pearl dust.
Thanks again to everyone for your nice comments!
They look very, very prof. keep up the good work.
They all look fantastic. I love the Rolly Polly...very cute. Take a trip to the spa, it looks and sounds like you earned it! ![]()
