A word from an exterminator...

Roaches and spiders, and some other of those small creepy critters of the like, like to lay their eggs in that glue that is used to put together cardboard and brown paper shopping bags. (I haven't used brown paper bags since then! Uck!! ) I wouldn't think though that it came from a cardboard cake board as they've been sanitized for food use right.., but who knows!

Just a point to ponder...

Ooh! icon_surprised.gif I know I would totally freak out! I HATE spiders~arachnophobia to the fullest!!!! icon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif I would rather see a snake or a mouse or something. Not that I would enjoy that necessarily but it would be better than a spider!!!! thumbsdown.gifthumbsdown.gif

Funny spider story!!! A little off topic...inlaws have a place at lake of the ozarks and no one lives there all the time. I where glasses and me and DH were down there once. I was getting ready to get in the shower so I had my glasses off. Was getting ready to step into the shower and I saw a black (thought it was) blob in the bottom of the tub. Butt naked, not so small woman...bending over to see what it is and it's a WOLF SPIDER!!!! icon_eek.gif AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! icon_surprised.gificon_surprised.gificon_cry.gif I forgot I was naked and took off running down the hallway to go outside!!!!!!! icon_redface.gif where DH was to get him to kill it!!! Luckily he heard me scream and met me at the door!!!! LOL I almost stepped right on it!!! icon_eek.gif Took me a little while to "chill out" but now every time I think about what I must have looked like it totally cracks me up!!!!!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif Needless to say now I always look before and after I take off my glasses when we are down there to make sure none have gotten "trapped"... icon_rolleyes.gif

Once when I was about 13 or so, I was helping my mom paint our hallway, and I was unscrewing the light switch plate. I pulled it away from the wall, and a wolf spider fell out of the wall. Oh my god. 20+ years later, I can't unscrew a light switch plate without fear.
