I made my very first MMF & I think it'sa bit dry since I added 8 cups of PS to 16 oz marshmallow. I haven't rolled it yet. I was able to make pearls with it & tried making roses and it worked.

I am using it tomorrow to cover a cake. What if it cracks while I cover the cake, what is the best way to save this?

thanks,

icon_surprised.gificon_lol.gif It should have been 4 cups...you added double the amount of sugar. Try adding some shortening to the batch thumbs_up.gif

If it is really crumbly, try adding some shortening. I like the recipe on this site that calls for shortening. Here is a link:

How about adding a little marshmallow cream if you have any.

Slather your hands with crisco, and knead it into the mmf. That happened to me, and that's what I did, along with adding a little water (just a little at a time), until I got the desired texture.
