Okay, I know I'm not the first person to think about this... But maybe someone knows where I could find something... I'm getting more into decorating and I want to be able to design my cake before I get started... A diagram as it were... I'm a computer person and would like to have a program that has those common elements in a cake layers, flodilys, borders, being able to stack un stack... AM I making sense does some like this exsist... I also thought it would be nice to have something to show a bride so she can get an idea that we are the same page and stuff... Someone tell me I'm crazy...
Thanks Kristin
I have my lazy a$$ resident computer geek boy working on this as a project for HIS school and my benefit.
As soon as he gets into geer and realize how much money he can make instead of designing shooter games I can go buy my first mansion..I mean..our first mansion..lol
Really seriously..RonBen Israel had something like this on his site were a bride could 'design' her cake and preview it..
I've been to his site lately and nothing there ....I tried to download it once..and it took FOOOORRRREEEEVVVVEEERRR..never got to 'peek' at the software.
Sorry...
but, hey..someone beats my LARCGB to the punch....send me a copy..C.O.D. , A.S.A.P.!!
lol
I would hazard a guess that there's no software b/c the majority of cakes are not complicated in design.
I sometimes use paint shop pro to "design" my cake.
I know on another board I saw someone (can't remember her name now) posted her beautiful Chinese cake proposal for someone done in I think Photoshop. It was fantastic!
So you don't need a special "cake" program. You can use these others but you do have to know the program.
I just wanted thank everyone... I guess I thought this my be something that was out there... but I guess I will need to work on Photoshop to make it work... Thanks Again for all your suggestions
