i love playing with mix cakes and adding different ingredients to them (still too scared to try scratch cake) and i just made a cake today that i have to share because it is oh-so-yummy.
it's super simple, but i have to share it!
1 yellow box mix (used betty crocker, but whatever)
1/2 tbsp approx. meringue powder
1 Chocolate pudding mix
1 tbsp approx. cinnamon
stir away lumps
then add required water and oil per box (1 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup oil per betty)
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 eggs
mix away, bake in 325 oven, and let cool.
thennnnn i just made a super quick glaze of strawberry jam, sugar, and brown sugar, poured between the layers, and ATE IT! it was so yummy. i hope you guys give it a go.
also, what could i call it? it tastes like autumn to me.
