A friend wants me to make a Batman head for her son's B-Day. I want to use cake for the head. I was wanting some suggestions/hints to make this easier. I've never done anything like it before. I am a newbie! icon_smile.gif I've looked thru pictures and threads, but can never find the info when I actually need it!
I was curious as to:
1) Size and shape of pans to use for correct proportions.
2) Time to allow for such an undertaking
3) Cost for this type of cake
4) Special equipment, if needd
Thank-You so much for all your help.
This is the coolest sight ever, highly addictive is an understatement!
All of you do such marvelous cakes! thumbs_up.gif

I dont know if this will help but i saw a spider man head made from the 3d egg pan by wilton. Then they stuck it on a hexagon pan the they made look like a web. You might try that but put it on somthing batman like. Didnt realy pay attention to batman so dont know a lot about him.

Your best bet would be to go thru the pics and find one that is close to what ya wanna do and 'pm' the person who made the cake...people are really great about responding to wanted info!
