I saw the recipe calls for 10 oz chocolate and 1/3 cup corn syrup. I got candy melts because they're already colored but the bag only comes in 16oz. Now I don't know how much corn syrup to add. Help?

Other than eyeballing or weighing I just don' t know. When I buy the chips they come in 12oz bags so I just leave a little left over. Im guilty of eyeballing icon_razz.gif

This may sound a little weird but i would divide the candy into 8ths. That would give you 2oz a pile the put 5 of them together to get ten. kinda silly but it works for fondant.

jcakes...I had actually seriously considered that, but I thought I was being a bit OCD about it. icon_redface.gif I guess it wasn't such a crazy idea after all!

I have a little kitchen scale I bought at walmart, that is what I use but breaking it down to 8ths sounds great!
