A 101 tip for small roses is perfect. For the base I would try a tip 10 and see how that works.

Good luck.

i've done it also... you have to practice alot .... well atleast I did... but its the same concept at doing it on a petal but do it on a non-waxed stick (cookie stick) or toothpick. To lift... you can use the scissors or sometime i like to take wax paper and poke it through the bottom of the stick and slowly push up on the rose... from my experience I've found that when doing it on a stick you may want to work with icing that is a little stiffer than when working on a petal.... anywho thats my 2 cents on the topic....hahaha

That is it in a nutshell...I did it just because someone told me that they did it and I wanted to see if I could...and I did!! icon_biggrin.gif Those little roses are not good for much though...kinda small to use on a cake!! I usually put them on a Barbie cake or some little girl cake that just needs a little flower. Try it, you will be surprised that you can do it... thumbs_up.gif
