I was trying to make a valentine heart shaped box with a lid.I didn't like the idea of puting a fondant covered cardboard as a lid.So I tought this waffer sheets cut out in the shape of the heart and then covered in fondant may work. That way the whole thing including a lid would be edible.Im not sure if it would work, what do you think.I guess I could try and see how it turns out.Just an idea. icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

great idea! I hate decorations you can't eat.Where did you find such a giant wafer?

cute idea, now would you incorporate the diamond pattern into it as well or try and fill in the wells? Filling it in might be difficult. Great idea though.

The one side of the wafer is smooth and the other is diamond pattern. So I think I could use it either way.
