I am fixing to make MMF for the first time I am doing my daughters birthday cake in a care bear theme and want fondant clouds like in the yearbook. Stupid question I think I know the answer to do I make the fondant with my mixer and do I use the dough hook? I have never used the kitchenaid mixer before (just got it 350 watt professional series thumbs_up.gif ) and first time ever working with fondant. Help please!

I use my paddle at first then switch to my dough hook.

Thanks! Just remembered I do not have a rolling pin but since I am making clouds I would not think I would need it? How long wiill this stuff be good for?

If you put it in an airtight container I think it last for a really long time. I've kept it for 2 months and had no problems. I just zapped it in the micro to soften it a bit.

For clouds I thing you could just shape it like play doh no roller needed. I'd love to see your pictures!
