I really liked how this turned out. This was a request from my little guy who wanted a bike cake too! It's a vanilla cake with cookies & cream filling covered in Swiss Meringue with a fondant tricyle.

Great cake bikegal. The tricycle is adorable. Love your border--very, very nice!

How difficult is it making the swiss meringue? Is it creamier than buttercream then?

Thanks ladies! All your wonderful comments mean a lot to me. I feel like I've gone round and round with smoothing my cakes and I'm FINALLY winning! *grin* Well, I showed the cake to my little guy(3 years old) when he woke up. First comment out of his mouth is, "Where is the bike rider?" Hmmm....My response, "I can't work miracles." He replies, "Sure you can!" There is a green plastic soldier perched on the tricycle seat now. *laff* Kids, gotta love them.
