I've seen some cute clear plastic boxes that people here have used to put a mini cake or cupcake in. I can't find them anywhere.

Can you please tell me where to get them.

For Saint Patrick's day I'm having a tea party and wanted to send everyone home with a mini cake shaped like a leprechaun hat with shamrocks on top and a few gold coins on the cake board. Thought it would be cute if the box was clear so they could see what they are getting and then I could use some cute ribbon to tie on it.

Thanks for your help.

Those are nice but I'm looking for a clear box that will hold a mini cake. I've seen them posted here by some people who did the ornaments cupcakes at Christmas time.

Anyone??????

Try Papermart

or Nashville Wraps

I'm sure there are others, too, but I can't find my list right now.

I found small, clear boxes at www.usbox.com
They are called apple boxes..they come in different sizes but for cupcakes the 3x3x3 should suffice...happy baking! icon_smile.gif

I used a caramel apple box. I believe it was 4x4x4. Ck products carries them countrykitchensa.com I think I paid about .90 each for them.

I just received a cupcake/deck of heart cards combo for Valentine's Day today. I am attaching a picture of it (sorry if it is grainy, took the pic with my phone). You could put the mini cake in one side and the coins in the other. The "gift" was purchased from Wal-Mart. I have heard other members say that they purchase some of their cake boxes/cupcake holders from their local grocery store bakeries. Perhaps you can check your local Wal-Mart and see if they have something similar:

Another idea is this...check in ur yellow pages under baking suppliers, and call b4 u go. Let them know u want the "clamshell" plastic boxes for ur mini-cakes, I am so sure u'll be able to get them. I go directly to one close to my house, and I found another supplier, with not so much of a selection but, I can resolve there on an emergency. Good luck!
