I'm still trying to figure out how to price my cakes. I'm confused about how many servings in various size pans. When I looked it up in Wilton's books it seems like they say an awful lot of servings...for example they say a 9 x 13 pan serves 45....(for a party serving). Do you find that true? To me it seems small.

HI

The wilton guide says that a 9 x 13 serves 24 party and the 12 x 16 serves 48. THat is what I have anyway. Maybe you are looking at wedding servings .

So far, I have found that pretty helpful. The character pans serve 12-15 on average. I would check our local bakeries in your area and price accordingly.

Hope this helps
