Hi--Can I use a box cake mix to fit a sheet cake (10.5x14.5 x2") or would I need 2 boxes?
Thanks!

You'll need a little less than 2 if I'm not mistaken. A box will do a 13x9 max for me.

According to Wilton, the 11 x 15 x 2" takes 11 cups of batter...so by doing the 2 cakes mixes (give or take a little) you should be fine!

Thanks for the advice! I wasn't sure if a "doctored" recipe might yield enough for a 10x15 pan, since a regular cake mix recipe (without the added pudding, etc) works for a 9x13.
But I guess to be safe, I'll just double the recipe for the choc. chip pound cake.
Thanks!

Thanks!

...according to Wilton 325* for 35-40 minutes..just use that as a guide since oven temps vary!!
