I would like to make some MMF and am just wondering if I can melt my marshmallows in the microwave? The recipe says to use a double boiler, but I don't have one.

Thanks

Yes, the recipe actually indicates double boiler or microwave.

On the article on How to Make and Decorate with MMF, it says to melt the marshmallows in the microwave. You can also make your own double boiler by placing a bowl over a saucepan. The bowl has to fit snuggly on top of the saucepan but not touching the water inside of it.

Thanks! I always wondered if the bowl should fit snuggly or if I should leave room for steam to escape. MMF here I come!!!
