I just did a spongebob cake for a very talkative one year old little boy. They came to pick it up and his eyes lit up and he told me " Thank you, thank you !" and he gave me a big hug. He just melted my heart. the funny thing is, I thought the cake could be so much better, but he didn't think so.

Just wanted to share this little experience of mine.

That is just AWESOME! I love it when I get those types of responses! Mostly they are from kids but they are GREAT no matter where they come from! Congratulations!

The smiles and happy tears are so much more rewarding that the $ (don't get me wrong-the $ makes me smile!) But anyone can be paid for a cake-it's the expressions that make the day!

I bet your heart did melt! Great looking cake, I can only imagine how excited he was!
Reminds me of our granddaughter and her "Princess Castle" cake...little ones are so honest!
