Just finished a gingerbread house that is for the cooking school here. I have 3 classes with kids scheduled in December. Pretty easy--they are pre-baked and pre-assembled, you get the bagged royal icing and candies to decorate. This came from www.enchantedgingerbread.com
THe biggest problem for me was wanting to actually map out how I wanted it to look. My DH said it wasn't an engineering/architectual thing--it was a decorating thing. So I put down my pencil and paper and started decorating. Hope you like--it's in my photos.
