I've taken some of the batter out and mixed unsweetened cocoa in it and then spooned into the batter that I"ve poured in my pan and swirl with a butter knife ... I've done this alot.. I never buy marble cake mixes lol

I don't buy the marble mixes either. There's never enough chocolate. I usually make one box of white/yellow/vanilla and one chocolate and then swirl them together. I've been wanting to try a zebra cake though. Same principle as a marble cake but you spoon the batter in layers instead of swirling it. Here's a pic of what one looks like inside...
