THAT is cute....just make it on a large scale if doing a sheet cake. If you look in the galleries under Holidays, Christmas, there are some good ones too...there is a christmas parcel cake, there is a little village scene, you could do a large scale sleeping Santa.

I'm doing a tiered cake for our Sunday School class Party in December. There will be about 100 attending. I'm doing pumpkin cake for the bottom two cakes, and fresh apple for the top. Using cinnamon buttercream icing....Deep green, gold and burgundy piping and "stuff"....making a fondant tree with fondant packages for the topper (like a weding topper...) Might sit litte fondant "presents" around the layer edges. Basically...this is a wedding cake turned Christmas....and an opportunity for me to practice tiered cakes. I'm going for a country-look color scheme, as the cinnamon BC is a little earthy looking.

hmm... I would go for something wintery as opposed to holiday specific - since not everyone at an office celebrates thte same holidays.

just my 2 cents...

I have done two Christmas Dessert tables. .I made a lot of different little things and everyone loved seeing what was there and coming back over and over. One of them I added huge jars of old fashioned christmas candy and they got Christmas themed bags ( oriental trading co) to fill. It was so fun. Just a thought. You could have cake or cupcakes and then have lots of mini things.. PM me know if you have questions.

I have a few Christmas cakes on my website that I did last year. I tried to make them look kind of like Christmas cards. I found the pictures online under christmas coloring pages. I used a swiss dot pattern on some of them to look kind of like falling snow. All of them got a huge "WOW". You could do several 1/4 or 1/2 sheet cakes (depending on how many you need to feed) with a different picture on each one. Once you get started on these it is hard not to want to do an other one, they are so much fun. Anyway, look under Seasonal cakes on my site www.ronkerri.com/kerriscakes

Perhaps my Christmas cake might give you an idea. Take a look. Another idea: A cake featuring the company logo decorated with pinecones and poinsettias or snowflakes, Good luck!
