Is there a tutorial on how to make a sculpted car cake. I have been asked to make a Chevy Nova for my best friends dad's retirement party. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. She is going to give me photo of the car. My plan is to carve the cake and the accents will have all the writing etc. that is on the car. The car is his 1st race car (which is older than me icon_smile.gif ) and he still has it, I want the cake to look as close to it as possible.

there is a member here (nati) that has a website that shows a car. i think it's natiscakes.com, but i really don't remember. basically, you bake an oval 3 inches high, cut the sides straight down so it's more like a rectangle with rounded ends, then stack what you cut on top for the roof of the car, but do a search for nati to hopefully point you in the right direction
