I'm so excited!!! The lady called me this afternoon, and the bakery is opening on the 24th! She's coming to my house on Friday so I can give her a list of everything I can do and also plan on what I'll do for their opening day. YIPPEE!!!! icon_biggrin.gif
I guess I'll have to buy my new 600 KA sooner than I thought! My old one cannot take all this icon_eek.gif no way!
They want me to bake everything that's not French pastry!! Brownies, cookies, cakes, donuts and so on....
And when everything will be going nicely, I'll work with them a few days per week so he can teach me all he knows!!! He's a double gold medalist in pastry in France!!!! I just cannot wait!!!

Wow!! Congratulations!! I am envious. I would love to find a job as a pastry apprentice. Please keep us informed on how it goes.

Thanks guys!! I'm so happy! this week I need to do a lot of shopping, bulk shopping! and next week: bake until I drop! The first order will be a little bigger, since their making a great opening! After that we'll be more able to know what sells, what doesn't and so on!

What a great oppertunity! The french are get when it comes to their pastry! I did my pastry apprenticeship through a french man he didnt have many people skills but he was the best of the best!
You will learn so so so much! Hope everything goes well and make such you let us know how everything went!

I would definetely go out and get that new mixer...nothing worse than having something die on your while you are in the middle of doing something important with it.
