Pasta Machine Thicknesses?

I was wondering what the thickest setting on a pasta machine is? I've been looking on line all I see is "7 thickness settings". None actually say what they are. Can anyone help?

The thickest setting on my pasta attachement for KA is 1 and the higher the number, the thinner it gets. I want to say that my table-top hand crank one is the opposite.

When set to the thickest setting how thick is it? 1/8 of an inch, thinner, thicker?
