Can someone help me? I have heard about Chocolate MMF...is there a recipe link (that I couldn't find), or is it something that has been discussed on a thread? I need to make it!

there is a thread out there.. do a search on the receipe page.. i've always melted chocolate or candy melts and added just after i pour the melted mm's into the bowl before mixing.. some people add cocoa powder but i find it dries out the fondant too much..

I have had succes with adding 1 oz of melted chocolate to my MMF ..you could always add more, it just depends on your taste preference!

I add one square unsweetened chocolate to the marshmallows when I melt them, then add 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa in with the powdered sugar. It's a nice soft brown color, and tastes like a tootsie roll.

i've tried your recipe awhile back and i liked it as well.

if you want it dark brown, color gel can be added. i put mine in the microwave to soften it and it caused it to be more brittle with air bubbles, so i would recommend kneeding it by hand instead of using the microwave. as far as taste, it was very good.

Do you think an ounce of dark chocolate or bittersweet chocolate would be okay?

Well, I've never tried it, but my guess is it's probably ok. So your MMF will be a little sweeter...(as if that's possible! icon_lol.gif )

I always add some cocoa powder (maybe 1/2 -3/4 cup) in place of some of the powdered sugar. Works great.
