My Mom really likes her job, but every Sunday night she starts dreaming about it. Monday mornings she has stomach aches and really complains about going to work. She seems like she is really down and negative during the week. I am worried about her. This has been going on for months. I tell her to have good day. To try to have postive thoughts. She says her only postive thought is Friday night. Any suggestions on how to help her be more up?

hmmm, are you sure she really likes her job? She sounds like she might me under some massive stress there or it may be time for a career move.

She does like her work. I know that she feels like she has to do alot more than she is suppose to, and doesn't get her work done because of it. Her supervisor passes the buck. She can't really tell him no. There is also a person that doesn't do the work, but gets all the credit and everyone else gets in trouble for it. I know she gets talked down to alot. But, she really likes the work. I think the work condtions get her. She won't talk to anyone at work about it. She has tried but nothing happens.

Is there anywhere else she could work doing the same thing that would treat her better?

Not in our small community. She just got a promotion and is working her way up. This is the first time her job has ever meant anything to her. She used to just work for the money when we where kids. Now it is for her and the money. She is proud of herself for the job. She just doesn't like the way she it treated.

That's too bad she is getting treated like this. If she already talked to someone yet nothing changed in the work place I can see why she feels the way she does.

Yeah, me too. I wish I could help her better. I know she tells me, because she feels no one else cares. I wish I had more ideas.
