I ordered Luster Dust from Cake Central and received it Saturday. Anyway how much vodka do you mix with it to get good coverage? I attempted to mix a little of each and it seemed to watered down--didn't get that great of coverage. I don't want to keep mixing since I ordered the small container and need to save if for the end of the month. Thanks!

There is no rule of thumb that I know of. You just mix until you get a good paint consistency. If it is too thin, you can add more dust to thicken it up, or if you don't want to do that, you can paint on a couple of coats--just wait for the first coat to fully dry. When I mix, I start with the dust first and then add the vodka with a medicine dropper so that I can control how much I put in at one time.

im not positive about this, but im pretty sure i read to start with just a couple drops of the vodka. using a dropper is a good idea too. i am trying out painting luster dust this weekend, it'll be my first time too! good luck!
