Well I got my first order today. They want me to make a cake for thanksgiving. They are leaving all the details up to me. The only thing they asked for is a sheet cake. I was thinking about maybe doing a cornicopia on top and maybe adding leaves around the side. I really dont want to do a turkey, I wanted something a little different. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Hi! I just made a fall cake, and it was relatively simple, but looks pretty cool, its in my photos, the squirrel one. It only took a few hours, and its a little different, and you could do it on a sheet cake! Hope this helps!

Love the squirrel one. That would be so cute on a full sheet. Good Luck!

I dont know if they have Michaels where you are, but I bought mini cookie cutters there, they had a fall package, with leaves, acorns, then I took colored gumpaste the different shades, rolled out the gumpaste thinly, then cut the shapes out. I wanted the leaves to be curved, so I bent them while they dried. Pretty easy!!
