I don't think the big Wilton kit includes everything you'll need for the class. If you're on a budget, you may want to tally everything and see how you come out cheaper.

Micheal's is good about giving discounts on the classes too. I took all three in the spring of 2004. I think one of the classes was $12 after the discount and it seems like the other two were $10 each. They too allowed coupons for the kits. Also gave all registered students 10% discount on any products bought for class. : )

I bought the course kits when I first took my Wilton classes. I was on a budget. By the time you get done with Course 3, you will have quite a collection. The only extras I needed for Course 1 were more bags, either parchment or disposable, meringue powder, piping gel and some extra couplers. Enjoy the classes. I wish there were more around here to take!

A lady in one of my classes was retaking all courses just to learn from another instructor. I had two instructors... one for courses one and two and another for course three, their styles were very different and each had their own little tricks and useful tips. If you miss class, but have already taken all three you might re-enroll at another location, that is if this is an option for you. I live close to several Micheal's and a Hobby Lobby, but realize not everyone does. Just a thought!
